BREAST AUGMENTATION = BREAST ENLARGEMENT

Breast Enlargement is one of the most popular cosmetic surgery procedures.  it can dramatically improve your appearance.

If you are unhappy with your breasts because you feel they are not big enough or are noticeably diffrent in size, or they may have shrunk after pregnancy or loosing weight, you are not alone! This is the most common type of surgery worldwide.

This operation is done by placing an implant under the breast tissue or muscle, in order to increase the size of your breasts.

BREAST IMPLANTS

Materials used to augment the breast are silicone implants. Silicone is a material that does not chemically interact with the body, does not change its molecular structure. Most common types are; SALINE FILLED, SILICONE GEL FILLED and COHESIVE GEL IMPLANTS. 

BREAST IMPLANT SHAPES

1- ROUND SHAPE IMPLANTS: Have the shape of a half sphere. After they are placed, they form a plump appearance at the upper half of the breast. It is an appropriate choice for interventions made from the nipple circle and the curve contour under the breast. Inflatable (that can be inflated with saline after placement) models can be placed with the intervention made from the arm pit.

2- TEAR DROP SHAPE (ANATOMICAL IMPLANTS):  Their shapes are more compatible with the natural shape of the breast. After being placed, they form a plump appearance at the bottom half of the breast. The best way to place these implants is the intervention made from the curvature contour under the breast.

At the stage of surgery, the patient and the surgeon will decide for Incision location, Implant type and size. 

BREAST UPLIFT & ENLARGEMENT

In some cases, Lifting may be needed for the best and long lasting result.  Breast Uplift and Enlargement will be done at the same time. In this case, the scarring will be same like Breast Lifting surgery.
