The Arm Lift cosmetic surgery procedure is for the sagging tissues on the upper arm which shows as a flesh bag hanging through the lower part of the upper arm; especially when the arm is lifted.

This can be corrected with the Arm Lift Surgery by removing sagging skin and tissue. But the surgery will leave a scar. The surgeon will try to hide this scar underneath the back side of the arm, but still the scar can be visible when the arm is lifted.

Arm Lift Surgery is one of the safest cosmetic procedures. Patients are satisfied with the result not only physically but also psychologically as they can wear the clothes they want including short sleeved tops. This operation provides thinner and natural contour to the arms.

OPERATION

Surgery is performed under general anaesthesia and takes between 1 to 2 hours. There may be some drainage tubes for up to 3 days to relief the swelling and pain. The stitches are of dissolving type. Support bandages will be worn all the times for a couple of weeks.

POST OPERATION

Post-operative discomfort is minimal. Swelling is generally mild to moderate and peaks at 2 to 3 days.  Bruising and swelling will lasts 1 to 2 weeks.  You will be able return to work after you return back to the UK.  Limiting lifting is very important during recovery period.

You will also be given medication for a certain amount of time, if your surgeon thinks that it is necessary.

You will be followed by your patient co-ordinator when you return home to make sure you have no problems. Our records show that it is highly unlikely that you will have a problem, but our surgeons and hospitals are committed to solve any problem or any of your concerns.
