Breast lifting is Over time, the breast tissue gets tired of the constant swelling and shrinking caused by menstruation, weight loss/gain or pregnancy.  With this operation breasts are lifted, nipples hoisted and skin ttightened to produce more youthful-looking and perkier breasts.

It is also possibble to combine with Breast Reduction or Breast Enlargement (with implants). 

The operation technique varies according to the degree of sagging.

Inverted T-scar / Anchor mastopexy: is prefered for very large breasts with extensive sagging. The scars will be around the areola, under the crease of the breast and another vertical line between them

Crescent mastopexy is for women who have subtle sagging and want their problem solved with minimal scarring. When this plastic surgery technique is applied, the scar will be around the half or full areola. This technique is usually combined with Breast Enlargement (implants).

Lollipop / Vertical mastopexy tends to work better where there is reasonably small amount of tissue to be removed. The scar will be at around the areola and vertical incision, not at the crease line.

OPERATION

The operation is performed in 2 to 3 hours under general anesthesia. 

It is not a painful operation but swelling will be present for a couple of weeks.

Scars will start to disappear slowly in months.

POST OPERATION

You must wear your supportive bra for 24 hours at least for 2 weeks. The bra should be worn all day for further 4 to 5 weeks. You will be given medication for a certain of time, if your surgeon think that is necessary.

You will be followed by your patient co-ordinator when you back home to make sure you have no problem. Our records show that it is highly unlikely that you will have a problem, but our surgeons and patient co-ordinators are committed to solve any problem or your concerns.
